Ness' home in Canada

One of these days, we may have something to sell... at which time, we'll post it here (maybe Barb's CandlePlace!!!). For the time being, this is more of a private website, but feel free to take a look. It's a beautiful place! And if you feel like it, send us some feedback!

We've decided to name the "estate" RiverNess. The property actually borders the east branch of Scotch River near Dunvegan, Ontario. Most of the year, the river can hardly be called a river... sometimes it's a babbling brook... right now, a trickling stream would be more descriptive.

As compared to its Scottish relative, our Ness has more the appearance of a fisher (Martes pennanti), and has been blamed for many monstrosities... Although we haven't actually seen him yet, we've blamed him for the many carcasses left about last Spring (a beaver, a few racoons, some squirrels). We also suspect he may have been responsible for the dissapearance of Rocky, Marion's poodle).

So, our Ness, our River, near a Scottish early settlement.... RiverNess. Even sounds cozy !
